According to statistics, the global alumina production, excluding China, totaled around 30.23 million tons in the first half of this year, growing by 5.67% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, the output in Oceania was roughly 10.15 million tons; that in South America was around 6.87 million tons; that in North America was around 1.3 million tons; that in Europe was roughly 4.57 million tons; that in Asia and Africa totaled roughly 8.19 million tons.
The output in Europe and North America kept basically flat compared to the first half of 2019, and output in Oceania, South America, the Middle East, and Asia had various growth.
