According to latest statistics from Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO), Iranian major aluminum producers totally produced around 276,000 tons of aluminum during the last Iranian year as of March 19th, 2020, dropping by 8% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALCO) accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 177,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4%; followed by Hormozal Aluminum Company with around 47,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 40%. Almahdi Aluminum Company and Iran Alumina Company were at the third and fourth position respectively, with a separate output of around 42,000 tons and 9,600 tons.
