Norsk Hydro shuts down automobile facility in Rotherham

   It was reported that Norsk Hydro shut down its automobile components facility Hydro Components UK Ltd. in Rotherham, as part of widening business restructuring of its aluminum extrusion solutions.

  The site was on the Barbot Hall Industrial Estate. The firm specialized in aluminum processing and provided surface treatment and solutions to machinery manufacturing for the automotive industry.
  According to Hilde Merete Aasheim, President and CEO at Norsk Hydro, the firm has taken measures to improve their works by pushing policy for sustainable development and high profitability.
