According to statistics, Argentina’s bauxite imports slid gradually from 2017 to 2019, totaling around 409,000 tons, and the imports were expected to keep dropping by 8.73% to 115,000 tons roughly in 2020 due to lower demand and higher prices in Argentina.
It was understood that Argentina has been importing bauxite from other countries, such as Brazil, China, India, the Netherlands, the US, and so on.
