Sohar Aluminium Signs Mou With PACI For Aluminium Craft Training centre

　　Sohar Aluminium has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PACI to set up a training centre on the company's premises in Sohar for aluminium craft work.

　　The agreement was signed between Dr Isam Ali Ahmed al Rawas, deputy chairperson of PACI, and Henk Pauw, CEO of Sohar Aluminium, at the PACI office on Tuesday.

　　As per the MoU, PACI will provide trainers and study material while Sohar Aluminium will provide the faculties and funding for the programme. The centre will train selected women from low-income families in the local community in aluminium craft manufacturing.

　　The two-year training programme is expected to enable women to become entrepreneurs and produce aluminium handicrafts.
