The exploration of bauxite in Angola will depends on the discovery of reserves considered as economically useful.
This was said on to Angop on Saturday in Luanda by the chairperson of the investment and mining society “Bauxite Angola”, Bernardo Campos, under the workshop on “The Bauxite and Aluminium importance for Sustainable Development” in the Angolan International Mining Fair.
Bernardo Campos said that prospecting campaign has been already conducted in four conceptions areas.
According to him, these areas are located in the regions of Calulu, Catanda, both in Kwanza Sul province, as well as Tomboco (Zaire) and Quitexe (Uíge).
He said that experts are conducting studies in each region to find if there is minerals.
The exploration in those areas might happen within next three years, where infrastructural conditions are created, such as port and railway-station.
