PTI reported that in tight range movements, aluminum traded 0.09% higher in futures trading after it moved up at the London Metal Exchange.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminum for delivery in March gained 10 paise or 0.09% to INR 114.95 per kilogram with a business turnover of 13 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in April moved up by the same margin to INR 115.30 per kilogram with an open interest of two lots. Meanwhile, at the LME, aluminum was trading a shade higher at USD 2,570.75 per tonne.
Analysts said that apart from a firming trend at the LME increasing demand at domestic spot markets influenced the aluminum futures prices.
