Bloomberg quoted according to exchange data released recently that copper stockpiles monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange climbed for a third week to the highest level in seven months.
The exchange said inventories added 481 tonnes to 132,647 tons based on a survey of eight warehouses in Shanghai. That is the highest level since the week ended June 18.
Aluminum stockpiles fell 8,581 tonnes to 434,020 tonnes, the lowest level in more than eight months based on a survey of 18 warehouses in Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.
The bourse said zinc stocks expanded for a sixth week, adding 5,027 tonnes to a record 321,093 tonnes based on a survey of 15 warehouses in Shanghai, Guangdong and Zhejiang.
The exchange said natural rubber inventories declined 175 tons to 68,675 tons based on a survey of 10 warehouses in Shanghai, Shandong, Yunnan, Hainan and Tianjin.
