Bloomberg Jan 12---The following companies had unusual price changes in Argentine trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 3 p.m. New York time.
The Merval Index rose 0.1 percent to 3,545.71.
Aluar Aluminio Argentino SAIC (ALUA AF) rose 0.2 percent to 6.01 pesos. The price of aluminum futures for delivery in three months rose 0.4 percent today in London.
Molinos Rio de la Plata SA (MOLI AF), an Argentine soy processor, surged 7 percent to 34.25 pesos, the largest increase in a week. Soy output in Argentina may rise on speculation that rains may revive crops, World Weather Inc. wrote in a report.
Petroleo Brasileiro SA (APBR AF) rose 1.5 percent to 77 pesos. Brazil’s state-controlled oil company rose in line with crude oil prices, which gained 2.2 percent in New York.
