Reuters reported that Western world unwrought aluminum stocks rose to 1.334 million tonnes at the end of October compared with a revised 1.289 million in September.
Provisional International Aluminum Institute showed that unwrought stocks stood at 1.207 million tonnes in October 2009. Total aluminum smelter stocks excluding finished end products rose to 2.447 million tonnes at the end of October versus a revised 2.373 million tonnes in September and 2.268 million tonnes in October 2009.
