Global aluminum inventories fall 2.8% in September

（Kitco News） -- Global aluminum inventories fell 2.8% to 2.376 million metric tons in September from a revised 2.445 million in September, according to a report issued Tuesday by the International Aluminum Institute.

The September total was up 4.3% from the same month a year ago. European inventories fell to 1.025 million tons in September from 1.118 million in August.
