RIO DE JANEIRO-(Dow Jones)- Brazilian consumption of processed aluminum products rose 25.4% in April from the same month a year ago, the Brazilian Aluminum Association, or Abal, said Thursday.
Consumption of aluminum sheets, extruded products and wires and cables, which account for 75% of total domestic market aluminum usage, grew 24% in the first four months of 2010, compared to the same 2009 period, the Sao Paulo-based association said in a statement.
