LONDON, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Unwrought aluminium stocks rose to 1.263 million tonnes in January compared with 1.203 million tonnes in December, industry data showed on Friday.
Unwrought stocks stood at 1.69 million tonnes in January 2009, provisional data from International Aluminium Institute (IAI) figures showed.
Total aluminium smelter stocks excluding finished end-products rose to 2.293 million tonnes at the end of January from 2.227 million tonnes in December.
