Dubal doubles to Europe

The Dubai Aluminium Company is planning to double its exports to Europe and the Mediterranean region over the next five years. Sales to European and Mediterranean markets currently amount to 200,000 metric tonnes per annum of which foundry alloy constitutes approximately 41%, extrusion billet 49% and high purity aluminium 10%. Dubal is hoping to lift its overall capacity to almost 1m metric tonnes by next year.
