The Bosnia-Herzegovina Muslim-Croat Federation announced Monday in Sarajevo international tender to sell 88 per cent of shares of the most profitable country's company, the aluminium company Aluminij Mostar.
The shares of Bosnian aluminum plant were offered for 150 million convertible mark (102 million dollars), the government said.
The remaining 12 per cent of shares belong to the Croatian company TLM in Sibenik.
Bosnian officials said they expected good offers until the tender closes on April 23.
The new owner of the majority stake in Aluminij Mostar aluminium plant is expected to have a good international reputation in the aluminium business and is also expected to keep the workers currently employed with the company.
Aluminij Mostar, founded in 1981, was badly damaged during the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but the production gradually resumed in 1997.
