According to statistics from Japan Aluminum Association (JAA), Japan’s output of aluminum products totaled around 168,000 tons in June, rising by 25.2% compared to the same month a year ago, the sixth year-on-year consecutive month of growth.
In terms of shipments, Japan's aluminum product shipments amounted to roughly 170,200 tons in June, up by 27.6% year on year, the fifth year-on-year consecutive month of growth.
In the first half of this year, Japan’s output of aluminum products had a year-on-year hike of 10.5% to approximately 938,800 tons, and the shipments grew by 11.2% year on year to roughly 947,000 tons.
