India-based Runaya said that it is communicating with Hindalco and National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) for their cooperation to set up an aluminum dross recycling plant so as to expand its domestic market share.

Runaya has built the aluminum dross recycling plant at Vedanta’s Jharsuguda smelter in Odisha, and it will build another aluminum dross processing plant at the Vedanta’s BALCO plant, which was scheduled to be put into operation in October.
The technology of aluminum dross processing can not only raise the aluminum recovery rate but is also helpful to create value-added products for India’s steel industry.
