BS reported that in range bound movements, aluminum traded 0.13% higher in futures trading taking positive cues from the London Metal Exchange.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminum for July delivery gained 15 paise or 0.13% to INR 113.25 per kilogram with a business turnover of 193 lots.
The metal for August delivery also strengthened by the same margin to INR 114.20 per kilogram with a trading volume of 10 lots. At the LME, aluminum was slightly higher at USD 2,558 per tonne in early trade.
Market analysts said that a firming trend in the base metals pack at the LME mainly influenced the trading sentiments at futures trade.
