ET reported that India's state run National Aluminium Company Limited has issued a tender to export 7,500 tonnes of aluminium ingots.
The official, who is close to the tendering process, said that the last date for submission of bids is February 15th 2011.
The metal would be supplied to the buyer in six batches of 1,250 tonnes each from March to August.
NALCO, the tenders of which serve as a global benchmark, sold aluminium ingots in January to Hong Kong's Hongfan International Limited at USD 108 per tonne premium over the average LME cash price on a cost, insurance and freight basis.
