ET reported that Indian aluminum traded 0.13% lower in futures trade after speculators offloaded their positions, taking weak cues from global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminum for delivery in March traded 20 paise or 0.13% lower to INR 115.95 per kilogram with a business turnover of three lots.
The metal for delivery in February also down marginally by 10 paise, or 0.09% to INR 115.05 per kilogram with a trading volume of four lots. Meanwhile, at the London Metal Exchange aluminum shed 0.2% to USD 2,545 per tonne.
Analysts said that losses in the most of base metals at the London Metal Exchange slackened domestic demand and weighed on the aluminum futures prices here.
