Et reported that Indian aluminium futures traded 0.8% lower at INR 103.50 per kilogram as speculators offloaded their holdings amid a weak trend at the London Metal Exchange.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, aluminium for delivery in January fell by 90 paise or 0.86% to INR 103.50 per kilogram with an open interest of 48 lots. Aluminium for delivery in December also shed 75 paise or 0.73% to INR 102.45 per kilogram with a trading volume of 515 lots.
Marketmen said that weakness in aluminium futures was mostly due to a weak trend in the entire base metals pack at the London Metal Exchange.
