India’s NALCO issues tender to export T aluminium

India's state-owned National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) has issued a tender to export 7,500 tonnes of aluminium ingots, a company source said on Monday.

REUTRES/Paulo SantosThe last date for the bids to be submitted is July 27, said the source, who is close to the tendering process but could not be named due to company policy, Reuters reported.


NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, earlier this month sold aluminium ingots at a premium of $92.50 a tonne, over the average LME cash price on a cost, insurance and freight basis.
