Indian state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd has issued a tender to export 9,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots, a company source said on Wednesday.
The last date to submit bids is June 8, said the official who is involved with the tender process but could not be named due to company policy.
The metal would be supplied in six batches of 1,500 tonnes each till November.
NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last month sold 10,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots to Switzerland-based Metcom International at a premium of $85.10 per tonne over the LME cash price on a cost, insurance and freight basis, the same source had said.
