BHUBANESWAR, India, May 4 (Reuters) - Indian state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina for $378 a tonne free on board, a company source said on Tuesday.
The alumina, to be shipped this month, was purchased by Hong Kong-based Noble Resources, said the source who is close to the tendering process but could not be named due to company policy.
NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold alumina at $325.26 per tonne free on board in February, the same official had said. (Reporting by Jatindra Dash)
