BHUBANESWAR, India, Feb 26 (Reuters) - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina for $325.26 a tonne free on board, a company source said on Friday.
The alumina, to be shipped by the end of March, was purchased by European trading firm Trafigura, the source, close to the tendering process but who could not be named due to company policy, said.
NALCO, the tenders of which serve as an international benchmark, last sold alumina in January at $336.36 a tonne free on board, the same company source had said.
