Demand for rolled and extruded aluminum product increases in Germany

According to Germany's Gesamtverband de Aluminiumindustrie, the association of aluminum producing and processing industries in Germany the demand for rolled and extruded aluminum in Germany has increased by 30.3% YoY.

The output of rolling mills increased to 946,500 tonnes by 28.6%. The output of extrusion mills increased to 283,800 tonnes by 36.3%. The most significant markets are construction, transport and electrical and mechanical engineering. There are a total of 47 factories producing rolled and extruded aluminum products with total employees of 16,000 people.
