Reuters reported that Premiums for physical aluminum in Europe stalled just below record highs this week with demand steady and Japan's nuclear crisis unnerving investors but material being tightly held was supporting levels.
Traders said that premiums for duty paid metal in Rotterdam this week were at USD 190 per tonne to USD 210 per tonne over London Metal Exchange cash prices matching quotes from last week.
