Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium was the major buzz around the bleachers at ECU's opening game Sunday.
In the newly-refurbished endzone section, 31 aluminum bleachers became unhinged and collapsed during the game. According to ECU officials, some fans suffered minor injuries, but no approximate number of injured people has been released yet.
The bleachers were removed for inspection, and fans relocated to other parts of the stadium.
