Rexam was permit to purchase Rostar

International Package Company—Rexam Co. announced recently it was permit to complete its purchase of Russia soft drink can company—Rostar. Rexam is an important soft drink can producer, it announced to purchase Rostar in July, 2007. This proposal has objected by Russian FAS, En+ Co. and UC Rusal. Rexam will make further negotiation with FAS. Besides series of standards, FAS signed contract with FAS, in the following 10 years, the rising rate of soft drink can price couldn’t above 15%, unless special situations, and go on its investment on can industry to fill market demand. Its main business should be beverage package and plastic package.
