ATHENS--Mytilineos Holdings SA is eyeing a merger of its Aluminium of Greece SA affiliate and its Delta Project SA unit, newspaper reports said Thursday.
Financial daily Naftemporiki quoted the company's president telling shareholders he is considering a merger after the completion of a deal with Spanish Endesa SA.
Mytilineos controls 47.06% of Aluminum of Greece - and is planning to raise its stake to almost 52% - and it holds 61.97% in Delta Project.
However, any possible decision will be taken following the conclusion of talks for a potential strategic cooperation in the Greek energy market with Endesa, the newspaper said. Further details of the venture are expected soon.
