Rexam to Start Building Aluminum Can Plant This Year

CHELYABINSK , October 12. /FIS/. Britain's Rexam is set to start the construction of an aluminum can plant this year in the Chelyabinsk region.

A line will be installed of the annual capacity of 800 million 0.33L and 0.5L cans. Commissioning of the new production is scheduled for the beginning of 2008. Project costs will total USD70 million.
