According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), China produced a total of around 6.74 million tons of electrolytic aluminum in the first two months of this year, up by 7.5% compared to the same period a year ago.
Meanwhile, China’s alumina output hiked by 10.4% to 12.99 million tons, aluminum products output dropped by 1.9% to 8.72 million tons, and aluminum alloy output grew by 6.7% to 1.81 million tons, all on a year-on-year basis.
