According to statistics from China Customs, China's aluminum profile exports totaled around 78,000 tons in May this year, growing by 1.64% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 18.67% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to the EU accounted for 4,400 tons, a month-on-month decrease of nearly 17% and a year-on-year drop of 50.6%, showing that China’s aluminum profile exports were still affected by the EU’s anti-dumping (AD) measure.
Despite the strong demand for aluminum profiles and the overall recovering export situation, the export volume to the EU was still much less than that in previous years, with more than 50% reduction.
