According to UK’s consultancy CRU, Tsingshan Holding Group is planning to increase its aluminum production in Indonesia in 2023.
Tsingshan doesn’t produce aluminum currently, but it is planning to build an aluminum smelter with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons in an industrial park on Sulawesi island with Huafon Group.
It was understood that Tsingshan will raise its production capacity to 500,000 tons per year in 2023, but it hasn’t disclosed a timetable for the launch of productions.
