According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China’s imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products totaled around 281,000 tons in April, increasing by 36.1% compared to the previous month and also surging by 165.2% from the same month a year ago.
During the same period, the exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products amounted to roughly 437,300 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%.
In the first four months of this year, the exports amounted to approximately 1.72 million tons, up by 5.8% year on year. The imports were around 943,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of nearly 131%.
