According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China’s alumina exports totaled around 10,000 tons in April, sliding by nearly 70% compared to the same month a year ago.
In the first four months of this year, China’s alumina exports amounted to 30,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 49.4%.
In April, China’s bauxite imports were around 8.74 million tons, falling by 13.6% month on month and also falling by 12.3% year on year.
