Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) posted its primary aluminum of around 2.76 million tons in the first three quarters, reducing by 2.82% compared to the same period a year ago. The alumina output was roughly 10.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.99%.
In addition, Chalco’s construction in progress decreased by roughly RMB 2.88 billion as Guinea, Guangxi Huasheng alumina refinery, and other projects reached the scheduled available condition and transferred to fixed assets, and the R&D expenses rose by 59.6% year on year due to increased investment in research and development of fine alumina.
