According to statistics, China exported around 7.67 million units of aluminum alloy wheels in August, growing by nearly 3.6% compared to the same month a year ago. The export value reached US$327 million, a year-on-year increase of 0.31%.
The improvement showed in statistics was because the export downturn caused by the COVID-19 epidemic has eased, and the performance in the export volume and value has got back to the level as the period before the epidemic, but the export unit price had a year-on-year decline of 3.4%.
However, with the coming cold season, it must be well prepared for the possible COVID-19 outbreak again.
