According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China imported around 182,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in the first two months of this year, hiking by 114.5% compared to the same period a year ago. The import value had a year-on-year increase of 34.2%.
As for exports, the volume totaled approximately 669,000 tons from January to February, decreasing by 25.3% year on year. The export value had a year-on-year decrease of 21.5%.
