According to statistics, China produced a total of around 570,000 tons of aluminum rod in February, sliding by 24.16% compared to the previous month and also dropping by 9.7% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the output in Shandong accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 210,000 tons, a month-on-month reduction of 5.78%. The output in Xinjiang ranked second with approximately 110,000 tons, down by 24.95% from the previous month; followed by Inner Mongolia with roughly 80,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 26.76%.
In the first two months of this year, China’s aluminum rod output amounted to around 1.33 million tons, increasing by 0.91% compared to the same period last year.
