China's imported bauxite inventory falls at end-Jan

   According to statistics, at the end of January, China's imported bauxite inventory totaled around 26.6 million tons, falling by 1.74% compared to the previous month and also dropping by 18.64% from the same month a year ago.

  Among them, the inventory in Shandong had a month-on-month decrease of 1.06% to around 23.4 million tons; that in Shanxi had a month-on-month decrease of 12.74% to around 1.4 million tons; that in Henan had a month-on-month reduction of 9.2% to approximately 990,000 tons; that in Chongqing had a month-on-month increase of 25% to 500,000 tons roughly; that in Inner Mongolia kept flat at 300,000 tons compared to the previous month.
