China's aluminium production at record high in October

China's production of primary aluminium reached 1,951,134 tonnes in October, an increase of 5% month-on-month and 11.87% year-on-year, hitting another record after 1,863,433 tonnes in August, data from the National Bureau of Statistics  showed on Monday.

YTD, the aluminium price has declined about 6%.

January to October, the primary aluminium putput reached 18,161,163 tonnes, increased by 9.2% year-on-year.

China is the world's top producer and consumer of primary aluminium.
