China's Ministry of Environmental Protection has decided to revise the pollution emission standard in the aluminum, lead, zinc, and other three nonferrous metals industry, to further strengthen the air pollution prevention, and meet the requirements in the twelfth Five-Year Plan of Air Pollution Prevention in the Key Area approved by the State Council.
The revise mainly involves the aluminum, lead and zinc, copper, nickel and cobalt, magnesium and titanium, rare earth, and vanadium industry.
The newly revised standard adds the special emission limits of air pollutants in the above-mentioned industries.
