China's first international standard of the aluminum profile industry was released

On July 18th, China's first international standard of the aluminum profile industry ---ISO 28340 《Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Combined Anodic Coating》was released by translating into Spanish, French, Russian, and many other countries' language, and was adopted by more than 120 member states of the ISO Standardization Organization . The release of the Standard has positive significance in breaking the technology trade barrier and increasing the import and export of aluminum profile for China and Foshan, for China's aluminum profile output accounts for almost the half of the world, and Foshan's aluminum profile output accounts for the half of China.

Generally, combined anodic coating is spread on the surface of aluminum alloy. The combined coating applying for this technology standard has the performance characteristics both anodizing coating and organic polymer coating. The coating is dense, abrasion-resistant, adhesive, corrosion-resistant, weather-resistant, and the coating layer can be controlled precisely. However, although China enjoys technology advantage in this aspect, but because of the big differences in the technology level and experimental methods, the international standard of this technology is not set all the time. The export of aluminum profile in Foshan, even in the whole China, was affected.

Foshan municipal government funds 2 million yuan as the technology standard strategy fee used for the apply for the international standard. Since 2004, the experienced enterprises in the industry has formed the apply team, and got the success after 9 years.
