China Scrap Aluminum Price Falls on Daily Index

The cash price of primary Indian aluminum saw the biggest upwards shift for the day, rising 1.2 percent on April 12, 2013.

Weakening prices followed two days of improvement as the primary aluminum cash price dropped 0.4 percent on the LME to $1,858 per metric ton. The LME 3-month price of aluminum closed at $1,896 per metric ton. Following a couple days of improvement, that price fell by 0.2 percent.

Chinese aluminum closed mixed on Wednesday. The price of Chinese aluminum scrap fell 0.6 percent yesterday. Chinese aluminum billet gained 0.3 percent. The cash price of Chinese aluminum inched up 0.1 percent. The price of Chinese aluminum bar was unchanged.
