China bauxite imports set new record with an increase of 68pct

According to Chinese customs data, the country imported bauxite 5,137,200 tonnes which increased 67.59% comparing with the same period a year ago.

Based on the detailed analysis of the data, the import volume from India increased 28.84% YoY rising to 3,039,000 tonnes. The import volume from Indonesia rose to 3.039 million tonnes on January, a 28.84% increase YoY link increase by 34.95%.
