Fiji perhaps overtaking Indonesia as a source of China’s bauxite

It is estimated that China’s Bauxite mining will extend to the North of Nawailevu,Fiji.By this,mining tasks in this district has been finished,while Aurum Exploration Limited Co.  has offered China the sixth lot of Bauxite recently.As the Minister of Department of Mineral Resource said,since the current work zone was divided into two parts,this area actually is not a new polder.

According to CRU:As Indonesia is likely to ban Bauxite export in 2014,Fiji is considered as one of sources of China’s Bauxite instead of Indonesia.China has began to import Bauxite from Fiji since the third season of 2012,and only in the latter half of the year,total imported volume has reached 285,000 tons.
