The ministry of Industry has seeking opinions in public. Compared with “The terms of Aluminum industry access (2007)”, quality requirements was added to the revisionary terms.
These terms of access cover monohydrallite enterprise, alumina enterprise, electrolytic aluminum enterprise and secondary aluminum enterprise. Compared with the Terms of 2007, the Terms of 2012 demand that Bauxite mining enterprise and Aluminum smelter company have to be equipped with complete product quality management system and the quality of Bauxite must conform to GB/T24483-2009, the quality of alumina must conform to GB/T24487-2009, aluminum ingot used for remelting must conform to GB /T1196-2008.
In addition, the exposure draft puts forward some standards and requirements on environment protection, cost reduction and utilization improvements.
