An Aluminum Corp. of China-led group hired Belgium’s Dredging International NV to begin work at its $130 million minerals pier project in Lima, Peru’s state news agency Andina reported.
Aluminum Corp., together with partners Glencore International AG and Trafigura Beheer NV, will start construction work on the pier in Lima’s port of Callao in April and start operating it in the second half of 2013, Andina said, citing Frank Boyle, president of Peru’s National Port Authority.
