Nanshan Aluminum to invest CNY 6 billion in production lines

 

 

The program includes 3 casting production lines in a casting workshop, a hot rolling production line and facilities that will manufacture aluminum plates and strips as well as thin boards. The annual production capacities of this program are expected to 50,000 tonnes of aluminum plates, 50,000 tonnes of thin boards of aluminum alloy and 100,000 tonnes of aluminum strips.

 

 

The aluminum plates manufactured by the plant are used in aerospace products, ships, tools, container tanks and trains. The thin boards are used in aerospace products, automobiles and tanks. The construction period of the production line for high-performance special aluminum alloy is 3 years with an expected rate of return of 16.8%.

 

 

In addition, Nanshan Aluminum plans to buy a tract of land in the port city of Longkou, Shandong province where the company is based. On that plot Nanshan Aluminum will build the high-performance special aluminum alloy facility which will occupy 16,300 square meters and cost CNY 358 million.
